In Recuro, we will reshape the way waste is handled and be an accelerator for the circular economy.
Our History
The induction-heated pyrolysis concept was launched as an R&D project internally in Effee Induction in 2019. In March 2022, Recuro was established under the name Effee Energy. The name came with mother company Effee Induction, which develops and delivers induction-based heating solutions.
Although short, our history has been eventful. By December 2022, we had completed the first series of tests with induction based pyrolysis, successfully providing proof of concept. In February 2023, we rebranded ro Recuro, and since then we have continuously advanced our technology – striving to make plastic recycling more cost-efficient, energy-efficient, and with lower emissions than what the market offers today.
Recuro means to restore
Our aim is to be an accelerator for the circular economy and restore value to plastic waste. We will develop and scale the economy for plastic recycling and pyrolysis products.
With our technology, we can contribute to solving a vast environmental problem related to management of, and emissions from plastic waste. This is an opportunity we can not let pass.
